Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones gobbles up the Dallas Cowboys.On 2nd and 7 from the Dallas 9-yard line with 6:38 left in the third quarter, Jones scored his third TD to give the Packers a 34-10 lead. Through three quarters, Jones rushed for 59 yards on 16 carries.
The way the Packers took down the historic Cowboys defense was amazing. During the regular season, Dallas ranked fifth in the league in points allowed (18.5). However, their run defense was a weakness they needed to address. Ranked 17th (112.4).
Meanwhile, former Pro Bowler Jones was in tears. Over the last three games, he has rushed for a league-high 358 yards, according to StatMuse.Dallas needs to address their D-line issues in the draft.
Otherwise, elite offenses will continue to exploit the Cowboys in big games.ESPN’s Matt Miller predicted that we will soon see J.T. Tuimoloau, 28th pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
