With legal issues escalating, Pete Rose will not attend a Phillies game…

The Philadelphia Phillies announced on Wednesday that Pete Rose will not participate in the team’s Alumni Weekend events from August 10 to 13. The statement came just two days after an unidentified lady claimed in a deposition that she and Rose had a sexual relationship when she was fifteen. In a statement issued by the Phillies, Rose stated that he is “concerned that other matters will overshadow the goodwill associated with” the festivities.
