The Audubon Wheelers aim to return to the tennis courts this week following the cancellation of their Tuesday encounter against Southwest Valley due to inclement weather. The Wheelers just suffered an 8-1 loss to Kuemper Catholic in a close game. Even though the final score might not appear to be close, each individual fight against a superior Kuemper Catholic squad was difficult right up until the very end.
These girls are still going strong; among them is Ava Slater, who leads the rankings in both singles and doubles with Gery Anderson. Slater is an athlete who has continued to come out of her shell and has gained even more knowledge about the game of basketball. Head coach McKenzie Nissen has been proud to work with her.
