The Lions will play running back Taylor Decker against the Cowboys on Saturday night.Decker was sidelined Wednesday with a groin injury, but coach Dan Campbell said in a news conference Thursday that Decker will play and participate fully in practice by the end of the day.
Decker’s final injury report for the week does not list any injuries.Campbell also announced that the team will have Safety C.J. They said they were considering a deal. Gardner-Johnson has been placed on injured reserve for this weekend’s game. He was ruled out Thursday, so he won’t return until Week 18 of the regular season after suffering a pectoral injury earlier in the season.
Running back James Houston (ankle) was scheduled to return from injured reserve Thursday but will not play this weekend. Brock Wright (hip) is also out, and cornerback Cam Sutton (toe) is the team’s only questionable player.
