Rhett Lowder, Cincinnati Reds’ top prospect, impresses in his Double-A debut. This is wonderful to see!

Rhett Lowder made a strong first impression for the Chattanooga Lookouts on Saturday night.

Lowder, the Reds’ first-round pick (seventh overall) in the 2023 MLB Draft, made his Double-A debut. He allowed three runs and six hits over five innings, with five strikeouts and one walk. Lowder made a solid debut after being promoted to Chattanooga earlier this week.

The 22-year-old is the No. 2 prospect in the Reds’ organization.
