Premier League top scorer Alan Shearer praised the Liverpool youngster’s outstanding performance against Fulham.
Conor Bradley, 20, joined the squad following a surprise injury to Trent Alexander-Arnold and received unanimous praise for his performance. A brief cameo from the bench in the 2-0 win over Arsenal gave fans a glimpse of his style of play and his 90 minutes against Marco Silva’s side was even better.
He showed confidence on the ball, did not lose possession and showed that he is ready to step up to the first team. Jurgen Klopp was also impressed, saying Bradley did his best tonight: “He’s a top lad and I really liked him today. I hope someone takes him home because he’s in the dressing room and it doesn’t look too good.
“He gave it his all and it was great to see and great to see.”And Shearer, who now holds the PL record with 265 goals, took time to congratulate the rising star on his success. Such praise from a legend shows just how good Bradley has been. And he waxed lyrical about the right-back on The Rest is Football podcast this week.
He said: “A young man joined Arsenal this weekend, Conor Bradley. Then he started against Fulham. He was great both offensively and defensively. I thought that was pretty cool for someone so young.
