How long have Detroit Lions fans been waiting for their team to hang a new banner? I mean a real banner too. Not that weird post 2011 thing where the Lions hung a banner that said they made the playoffs. I mean a real banner for a championship of some sort. Wait no more. It’s here.
It’s beautiful isn’t it? You’ll notice there’s a lot of room next it. Hopefully that means this is just a start and the Lions plan to give that banner some friends. Perhaps an NFC Championship banner and a Super Bowl championship banner would look really nice next to that.
