Manchester United have set the date for Mason Mount to undergo a medical ahead of his move from Chelsea.
Mount, 24, is set to sign a five-year deal, with the option of a further year, with United if he passes his medical.
United have agreed to pay Chelsea £55m for the England international, with a further £5m in potential add-ons.
Those add-ons reportedly include a ‘trophy’ clause which would see United make an additional payment to Chelsea if the midfielder wins silverware at Old Trafford.
journalist Matt Law has now confirmed that United have ‘scheduled a medical for Mount on Monday’, which is expected to take place at the club’s training base, Carrington.
It will take place once Mount has returned from his summer holiday.
Mount could be set for an awkward reunion with Martinez, who he clashed with during a Premier League match at Stamford Bridge last season.
