It’s been a dramatic week at Liverpool, with the Reds’ transfer outlook completely changed within a matter of days.

Having signed Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, it looked as though Liverpool’s summer rebuild was nearing its completion, with just one or two new signings needed in a defensive capacity.
