Liverpool Burnley starting lineup

Liverpool will be looking for a win when they take on relegation-threatened Burnley on Boxing Day. Liverpool have won two consecutive Premier League games at Anfield, the most recent of which was a disappointing performance against top-flight side Arsenal last weekend. They face Burnley, who are in good spirits despite relegation. They beat Fulham in what could be a decisive game at the end of the season thanks to their position.

Liverpool have failed to impress their newly promoted opponents this season and Jurgen Klopp will be keen to break that trend at Turf Moor. But with more games and more injury problems, Klopp will head into Tuesday’s game with a difficult choice. So Liverpool can face Burnley. Liverpool suffered another injury blow against Arsenal when Kostas Tsimikas fractured his spine after being tackled by Klopp in a vulnerable position following a Bukayo Saka counter-attack.This will put further pressure on Liverpool’s left-back options, with Andy Robertson already ruled out with a shoulder injury.

Joe Gomez will certainly fill the void in the defense that performed so ably against the Gunners.Elsewhere, Reds mainstays Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are likely to remain in the squad. Despite his fantastic performance on Saturday, Ibrahima Konate will rest comfortably alongside Jarell Quansah .

START XI against Burnley.(4-3-3): Allison; Alexander-Arnold, Quansah, Van Dijk, Gomez; Endo, Elliott, Jones; Salah, Gakpo, Nunes
