The Detroit Lions are back to their best when they travel to Jerry World to host the Cowboys this Saturday. It’s definitely a big game. The top seed in the NFC is still within reach, and the Lions need to beat the Cowboys to keep it there. Here is the final injury report for this week:
CJ Gardner-Johnson-OUT
James Houston: OUT
Brock Wright: OUT
Cam Sutton: Doubtful
Interestingly, Gardner-Johnson is not playing on Saturday. It’s unclear why the Lions decided to delay his return, but Lions coach Dan Campbell said Thursday morning:”No, look, it’s better than last week.” It looks really good and it’s an opportunity to promote it again.
We – (Lions executive vice president and general manager) Brad (Holmes) and I will talk about it today after work. “He should get back to training,” he said. The Lions reportedly plan to move with him as a precaution. Cameron Sutton is on the injury report today with a leg injury. He did not train on Thursday. We will track it down and let you know as soon as it is confirmed.
Here are some signs of the week for the Cowboys.
Rico Dowdle: It’s over
Jonathan Hankins: OUT
Tyrone Smith: I doubt it.
Viliami Fehoko: I doubt it.
Tyrone Smith is an important name to remember here. He is one of the best tacklers in the NFL and would help the Lions and pass rush if he can’t go. Let’s see what happens on Saturday when the inactive items come out.
