During the NFL Players Association’s annual meeting in Arizona, gamers convened to address union matters and pivotal decisions.
Case Keenum, a pro journeyman quarterback with over a decade of experience, who has moved through quite a number groups which include the Browns, Vikings, Bills, and Broncos, secured a spot on the govt committee.
In Arizona, Keenum, a former University of Houston standout, used to be appointed to a two-year term inside the NFLPA’s govt committee.
In three complete seasons with the Texans considering the fact that 2013, Keenum has a 3-9 report and has thrown for 2,486 yards, 12 touchdowns, and eleven interceptions. In his career, he has thrown for over 15,000 yards and has had 79 complete passing touchdowns
Joining Keenum is former Texans player linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin, now serving as president for the Detroit Lions.
“I am honored with the aid of the trust that the Board has shown in me and I will work difficult to be a voice and suggest for all players,” Reeves-Maybin said. “It will be my mission to proceed to serve and unify our membership, and I seem forward to inspiring greater gamers to use their voice in advocating for the union and our game.”
Reeves-Maybin steps into the position in the past held with the aid of JC Tretter, who carried out two consecutive terms but cycled off NFLPA management due to not being on an NFL roster this past season.
