The Boston Celtics again to winning methods on Saturday night, as they beat the Phoenix Suns 117-107. Jayson Tatum had a team-high 29 factors to go with 10 rebounds, 7 assists, and a steal on the night time but admitted postgame that he stunk it up.
“I eventually stopped turning the ball over,” Tatum said. “I’m thankful I obtained some super teammates ’cause I stunk it up tonight.”
Tatum shot simply 39% from the field, as he went 11-28. He also had two turnovers in the fourth quarter, but the Celtics got here away with the win to improve to 49-14 on the season.
While it wasn’t a top notch outing, I assume Tatum was being a bit too harsh on himself there. I wouldn’t say the 26-year-old stunk it up, but it speaks to the wellknown that he holds himself to.
He was once proper when he said he has some splendid teammates, though. The Celtics had six gamers in complete scoring in double digits, and this was with Kristaps Porzingis being out. Jaylen Brown had 27 points on the night, as the Celtics received regardless of Kevin Durant’s heroics for the Suns.
Durant had a season-high 45 factors to go with 10 rebounds, 6 assists, and 1 steal, however with Devin Booker out, he simply did not have sufficient help. Booker has missed the final four video games however appears to be close to a return, and we might see him on the court when these two groups play every other again on March 14.
