The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to permanently reassign interim GM Champ Kelly and interim head coach Antonio Pierce to their respective positions.
Raider Nation’s slowdown began to fade as recruiting began. Even though we now know Kelly is attending meetings with relevant coaching candidates, it seems like a waste of time to hold off until that happens since they are the presumptive candidates.So says the head of Raider Nation, now affectionately known as international superstar Ice Cube.
Cube had something to say on the Pat McAfee Show. He even offered to speak with Raiders owner Mark Davis. Ice Cube told McAfee, “When it comes to the NFL, I think they should hire AP. At the end of the day, athletes are very equal.”Ice Cube said, “Athletes need someone to listen. For whom he plays, for whom he runs through a brick wall, and once you know it, you can’t let it go.
These invaders have it.The superstar went on to praise the Raiders front man, saying: “They really want to play for this guy. You have to respect that. What are we waiting?””He (Pierce) sends a 6-4 underdog to the game,” Ice Cube said while discussing how Pierce fits into Raider Nation. That’s like 10 wins for Raider Nation.”Ice Cube: “I’m going to call that guy (Mark Davis). You know me. Maybe I can convince him to become the president of Raider Nation. “I agree with that message,” he said.
The NFL Scouting Combine will be held from February 27 to March 4, 2024 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.The NFL Draft will be held April 25-27, 2024 in Detroit, Michigan. The Las Vegas Raiders are currently 13th overall.
