Jurgen Klopp says Jarrell Quansah is ‘shaking his back’ during Liverpool’s FA Cup win over Arsenal. The 20-year-old produced another impressive performance as Liverpool won 2-0 to progress to the fourth round of the competition at the Emirates Stadium.
Quansa was a late substitute for Virgil van Dijk, who had to leave the game due to illness. Liverpool are also missing centre-back Joel Matip and left-backs Andy Roberson and Kostas Tsimikas. Quansah went goalless in the first half. He needed treatment before he could continue as a powerful striker for Arsenal. A Trent Alexander-Arnold free-kick set up Jakub Kivior’s own goal and Luis Diaz sealed the winner in added time to put Liverpool ahead
.Klopp was pleased with quansa’s performance, along with the rest of Liverpool’s defence. “I’m up,” the leader of “Kyzyldar” said in an interview with journalists. God, scary moment. Ibow [Konate] tripped twice and Jarrell fell and hit his back and twisted him a little bit. I actually thought so, but I think it would be really hard early game. [Konate and Quansah] were really good, Joey [Gomez] was great, Trent was great. Then Ali (Alison Becker) also helps.”
