Fabrizio Romano has dismissed claims he is “100 per cent sure” of the Liverpool supporter’s £15m fee.

There may have been some speculation regarding the signing of Wataru Endo from Liverpool.The Japan international was signed after Liverpool unexpectedly failed to land regular starter Moises Caicedo and back-up Romeo lavia. Both ended up moving to Chelsea.

Instead, the Merseysiders secured a £15.6m deal from Stuttgart. Jurgen Klopp’s men are “100% confident” they will be key figures at Anfield, Fabrizio Romano has tweeted. As our German tactician himself admits, it would be a shame to miss the former Bundesliga player finding his feet at the club. His time in the last XI – as Michael Reid’s tweet shows – was useful in this respect.

With Alexis McAllister expected to return in January, the Argentine will face little resistance to picking up where he left off earlier this month.Given the caliber of footballers returning in the top six, it’s not the end of the world.
