After an incredible 2023-2024 season, Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers are now preparing for a very impressive offseason for the future of the franchise.
Love had an up-and-down regular season before becoming a surprise star for the Packers in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs, setting the stage for an accelerated schedule for the franchise moving forward. The Packers recently hired Jeff Hafley from Boston College as their new defensive coordinator, replacing Joe Barry. But Green Bay’s pursuit appears to extend beyond the college level.
“As far as future NFL head coaches go, new #Ravens defensive coordinator Zach Orr may not be promoted from the 31-year-old’s former linebacker position,” wrote KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson on the socialization X. Formerly known as Twitter. “Orr received offer from #Packers to become defensive coordinator, but decided to stay in Baltimore, per league source.”
The Packers’ defense has been shaky in the postseason, but was dominant during the team’s upset win over the Dallas Cowboys in the wild card round of the NFC playoffs and dropped some tough plays against the San Francisco 49ers. This leads to defeat towards the end of the game. However, with a key position already secured, Green Bay looks poised to make another playoff run next year.
