Liverpool FC have parted ways with a familiar face as striker Paul Glatzel ends his 13-year spell at the club.
A major setback destroyed Glatzel’s promising career. But despite his recovery, he has now decided to start again at Swindon Town in League Two. Paul Glatzel had big dreams for Liverpool when he was just nine years old. He worked hard, captained the U21 team and had the chance to play in the first team.
However, he suffered a serious knee injury in the first game of the 2019 preseason. This greatly affected his chances. The dream of playing in the first team slowly disappeared. And now, after more than 13 years at Liverpool, Glatzel has decided to leave. It’s a sad end to a once inspiring journey.
