The Brazil international celebrates the fifth anniversary of his arrival on Merseyside this week, having helped Jürgen Klopp’s team lift a series of major trophies – including both the Premier League and Champions League.
Alisson has played an integral role in the recent successes at Anfield, tallying 231 appearances between the posts alongside a century of clean sheets since joining in 2018.
“It’s a fresh start from the past five years,” the No.1 told Liverpoolfc.com of the personal milestone.
“I only use those years to remember how good it is to be a Liverpool player. How good it is to be part of this family – a big family.
“The team, the supporters, the staff; everybody here, they are amazing. I love this place. I love being a Liverpool player and I want to give my all for the team to achieve our goals and go back to winning again.”
