After moving on from veteran Russell Wilson, the Denver Broncos are still searching for a quarterback answer in advance of the 2024 season.
Five quarterbacks have modified groups via change this offseason, most these days along with Justin Fields. The Pittsburgh Steelers traded a conditional sixth-round pick to the Chicago Bears in exchange for Fields (it can turn out to be a fourth-round choose based on Fields’ enjoying time).
Before the Fields trade, the Jacksonville Jaguars obtained Mac Jones for a sixth-round pick; the Philadelphia Eagles received Kenny Pickett in a pick swap with the Pittsburgh Steelers; the Arizona Cardinals obtained Desmond Ridder from the Atlanta Falcons in change for large receiver Rondale Moore; and the Seattle Seahawks obtained Sam Howell in a pick out swap with the Washington Commanders.
So, are there any alternate candidates left for the Broncos?
After adding Tyrod Taylor as a backup in the back of Aaron Rodgers, the New York Jets are probably willing to listen to change presents for Zach Wilson, however he’s no longer a very thrilling option.
If a pinnacle quarterback prospects falls to the Cardinals at No. 4 average in the NFL draft, Arizona would in all likelihood be willing to exchange Kyler Murray, however that doesn’t appear like a probable scenario.
Right now, Denver does not seem probable to exchange for a QB after passing on these candidates.
