Once again, the Las Vegas Raiders finished another NFL season with a top-10 offensive line.Raiders general manager Tom Telesco and coach Antonio Pierce made several decisions to bring in a number of free agents, including starting center Andre James. There’s no question that James finished the 2023-24 NFL regular season with a career-high performance.

He finished the 2023–24 NFL regular season with 963 tackles at the center position, allowing just three penalties and four sacks. His total hits ranked 20th at his position. His penalty kick grade was 27th and his breakaway grade was 8th. James finished the 2023-2024 NFL regular season with a 74.6 Pro Football Focus grade.

He also posted a 71.2 pass-blocking grade and a 75.0 run-blocking grade.At the end of the 2022-2023 NFL regular season, James had a 62.8 grade point average, per Pro Football Focus. He also had a 64.5 pass-blocking grade and a 59.3 run-blocking grade.In a recent Pro Football Focus article, the website listed a free agent every NFL team can’t lose this NFL offseason, and James was listed as a free agent the Raiders can’t lose.

Pro Football Focus highlights and recognizes the highlights of James’ career as a pass defender and run blocker during the 2023-24 NFL regular season. He earned a 70.0 PFF grade on both master zone blocks and intermediate runs.The former UCLA free agent turns 27 after signing his second veteran contract. With the stats showing James’ progress, it will be interesting to see who will be the starting center next NFL season for the Silver and Black.

The NFL Scouting Combine will be held from February 27 to March 4, 2024 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Michigan from April 25-27, 2024.
