Green Bay kicker Anders Carlson missed the extra point attempt. Through two quarters, Love completed 13 of 16 passes for 185 yards, a touchdown and a 135.7 passer rating, showing remarkable poise and confidence in his postseason debut. Even though Love is a freshman, it’s no wonder he’s blossoming.
In his last eight regular-season games, he completed 70.3 percent of his passes for 2,150 yards, 18 TDs, a pick and a fantastic 112.7 passer rating, according to StatMuse. Love has clearly been established as the future of the franchise, and if he continues on this trajectory and the Packers surround him with more playmakers, he will be one of the best QBs in the league.
