UPDATE: Jurgen Klopp issues fresh injury update on Mohamed Salah…

Jurgen Klopp has admitted he is still uncertain about Mohamed Salah’s hamstring injury ahead of Liverpool’s game against Bournemouth.

Salah has been suspended for Egypt’s Africa Cup of Nations group stage match against Ghana after it was revealed the Pharaohs captain will miss at least the next two games. But Klopp remains in the dark about the true extent of the problem as he continues to adjust to life without his talisman.”It’s not a problem if we try to find a way to replace Mo,” Klopp told Sky Sports.

“He went off and had an injury. I don’t know how long that will last, but I’m happy with our team today.””It’s not the best bench we’ve had but we’ve got good players on the bench and hopefully we can look forward to the next game after this one.”Liverpool’s starting line-up for the match against Bournemouth includes Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones as Salah’s absence leaves a gap in the squad.

Both players have impressed for United this season but have not always secured starting roles. “We’ve had these two for a very long time. Curtis has been with us for a long time. Same with Harvey. They’re young, but they’ve got a lot of miles under their belt and a lot of experience.” Klopp added. “Everybody is fine. They are experienced enough.

Everyone has to show up and play the way we want. If we could do that, I think teams would hate to play us.“We had about 11 days off and we didn’t think about it. I expect us to be perfect, honest, organized and ready [for the rest of the season] and we’re having a lot of fun.
