The Crown has cast Prince William and Kate Middleton as…
Almost more fascinating than whatever is going on with the British royal family in real life is Netflix’s popular series The Crown, which is based on their lives.
The drama series has just cast Prince Williams (one as a teenager, the other in his late teens and early 20s) and Kate Middleton for season six. On September 2, Deadline reported that Rufus Kampa will play the younger Wills, with Ed McVey portraying the slightly older William. Both actors surely have the jawlines to play believable princes.
Meg Bellamy will play a young Kate, about the age when she and William met at the University of St. Andrews to study art history. This is all three performers’ first television role.
