The Detroit Lions will play their final regular season game in Week 17 when they take on the Dallas Cowboys in playoff contention. A potential shootout, the folks at DraftKings Sportsbook have given us some interesting odds for the game. Let’s take a look at some of our favorites.
Jameer Gibbs, 50.5 rushing yards (-115)Two weeks ago, the Buffalo Bills terrorized Dallas’ defensive front with a rushing scheme that carried the ball 49 times for 266 yards. Running back James Cook led the Bills with 179 rushing yards and a touchdown, along with two receptions for 42 receiving yards and another touchdown. As I mentioned in my weekly Keys to Victory article, the Lions excel at a high-powered offense, and Jameer Gibbs, who is similar stylistically to Cook, has been on a tear lately. Not only did Gibbs exceed his expected percentage in every game this week, but he destroyed the Vikings’ 10 DVOA rushing defense in the last two games, including one.Week 16 at Vikings: 80 yards rushing.

With the Lions expected to have their backs in this game, Gibbs will need some cracks in the defense to get home. Yes, that includes Sam LaPorta. Week 17 at Vikings, 5 catches on 6 targets, 43 yards receiving.Week 16 vs. Broncos, 4 catches on 7 targets, 47 yards receiving.There has been an effort to get Williams more involved recently, and with his speed, he threatens to chip away at yards every time he snaps the ball.
