After the Boston Celtics defeated the Phoenix Suns, Jaylen Brown told NBA newshounds that he believes he’s having the high-quality season of his career.
Brown is shooting a career-high 50.2% from the subject this season for the Celtics, who have the first-class file in the NBA at 52-14.
Brown is averaging 23.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists this season whilst taking pictures 50.2% from the floor, 35.4% from past the arc and 70.4% from the free-throw line. He has 5 double-doubles and one triple-double.
The Celtics are the first group in the NBA to clinch a playoff spot this season. They’re on tempo for the franchise’s first 60-win season on the grounds that they went 62-20 in 2008-09.
With a 9.5-game lead coming into Thursday (3/14), the Celtics are headed for the top seed in the Eastern Conference. Their playoff draw should be dangerous, though, with the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat among a crew of talented teams in the mix for the play-in tournament.
The Celtics misplaced to the Heat in the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals in seven games. In 2022, Boston misplaced to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals notwithstanding having a 2-1 series lead.
Brown and Jayson Tatum are one of the exceptional duos in the NBA. The two All-Stars have had extraordinary success together, but they are nevertheless looking to win their first championship.
It will be interesting to see how a long way the Celtics go in the 2024 playoffs.
