The original ticket price for Klopp’s emotional farewell was $23,000 (£18,000/€21,000) on a resale site, for a total of $31,112 (£24,480/€28,638) including VAT and service charges . These seats are located in Block L5, in front of the Anfield Main Stand, just behind the dugout. These seats are one of the best seats in the house, but Liverpool are selling them for just $76 (£60/€70).
According to the Daily Mirror, this means that resale websites will make a profit of 40,700%.Cheaper seats are available for the match against Wolves on May 19, but will cost around $2.5,000 (£2,300/€2,300) before taxes and booking fees. Tickets for Sir Alex Ferguson’s final game as Manchester United manager in 2013 sold for $3,800 (£3,000/€3,5000) after he announced his retirement.
Liverpool fans are keen to say goodbye to Klopp, who recently announced he will be leaving the club after eight seasons. Fans will be keen to see the 56-year-old manager end his tenure on a high note by winning the Premier League title.
