Jordan Love and his team are scheduled to face the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium in the Bay Area on September 20-30.
Despite facing another big challenge, this time against the best team in the NFC, the Packers are dealing with multiple injuries to key players. According to Rob Demowski of ESPN, four players are currently available for the NFC matchup in the Bay Area. According to Green Bay’s injury report, Jair Alexander and Aj Dillon are top names.
While the 49ers are currently expected to win this playoff game against the Packers, the consensus is that San Francisco is clearly the more complete team and will be happy to play at home.Despite this, the Packers have shown remarkable resilience throughout the season. They emerged as one of the best teams in the NFL late in the season, and in the postseason they pulled off a huge win over the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.
While the 49ers are expected to win out and advance to the NFC Championship, the Packers could add some excitement if they can effectively deal with these injuries and prevent them from becoming inevitable roadblocks.
