The Boston Celtics host the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night in Massachusetts.During the game, Jayson Tatum scored his 11,000th career point and reached a career milestone.
The former Duke star is the 14th player in Celtics history to score 11,000 points.The other 13 players are Antoine Walker, Tom Heinsohn, Bill Sharman, Joe Joe White, Dave Cowens, Bill Russell, Sam Jones, Bob Cousy, Kevin McHale, Robert Parish, Larry Bird, Paul Pierce and John Havlicek. Tatum also made NBA history by becoming one of the youngest players to score 11,000 points.

He is the 14th Celtic player to reach this milestone and the 7th NBA player to reach the age of 26.”The star forward averaged 27.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.0 steals while shooting 46.8 percent from the field and 36.2 percent from 3-point range in 42 of games.He led the Celtics to a perfect start to the season, finishing first in the Eastern Conference with a 35-10 record through their first 45 games.
They are on a three-game winning streak and are 7-3 in their last 10 games.Tatum was selected third overall in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Duke and spent his entire seven-year career in Boston. In that span, they advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals four times.
