Crosby campaigned this week for the Raiders to sign Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones, who will hit free agency in the offseason.”

In 16 games this season, Jones recorded 30 tackles, 10.5 sacks and four interceptions en route to his fifth consecutive Pro Bowl berth while also earning his second consecutive First Team All-Pro selection.The 29-year-old missed Week 1 of the season due to a contract dispute with the Chiefs, but the two sides eventually agreed to a one-year deal. Still, Jones is looking for a big payday this spring, and Kansas City has shown it’s not afraid to let go of past stars. For example, two years ago, the Chiefs traded superstar Tyreek Hill due to financial constraints.
The Raiders enter the offseason with significant cap space, so they should have enough money to sign Jones if they want to.Jones, who played college football at Mississippi State University, was drafted by Kansas City in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
