Rumors circulated in the early hours of Saturday, September 8, that Mary J. Blige and Faith Evans got into a fight at a Diddy-hosted party in the Hamptons. There were no films of the incident, and there were no official reports regarding what caused the problem, which is most likely because the fight did not occur. Blige addressed the claims on Monday (September 10) during an interview on the red carpet at New York Fashion Week’s Dennis Basso show.
“I have no idea how this rumor started,” they explained. “Puffy didn’t even have a party.” The rumored brawl between the musical titans came following a widely publicized Fashion Week altercation between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. During the latter altercation, Cardi B allegedly tossed a sneaker at Minaj and her crew, claiming that Minaj ‘favorited’ nasty comments about her parenting.
