Manchester United could be heading towards a second summer signing as they prepare to officially announce the arrival of Mason Mount from Chelsea.
The England international has arrived at the club’s Carrington training ground after United agreed to pay an initial £55 million, with a further £5 million in performance-related add-ons.
Mount could be a United player in the coming days and make his debut for the club next week when the Red Devils begin their pre-season preparations.
But United are still actively working on other deals and in a new update, it’s claimed they have agreed personal terms for Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat.
The midfielder has attracted interest from the likes of Barcelona, AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and sides in Saudi Arabia following on from a sensational World Cup.
Amrabat was one of the stars of the Qatar showpiece, producing a series of all-action midfield displays as underdogs Morocco reached the semi-finals.
And according to Italian outlet La Nazione, via Sport Witness, United are huge fans of the 26-year-old and have found an “economic agreement” with him.
Fiorentina is rumored to demand at least €30 million (£26 million) to offload their best asset in order to keep him from leaving for free when his contract ends next summer.
The Red Devils are apparently willing to treble his current weekly wage of €37,000, and Ten Hag is eager to reconcile with Amrabat after their time together at FC Utrecht from 2015 to 2017.
And in good news for United’s manager, he is expected to leave Fiorentina soon.

Regragui, the manager of the Atlas Lions, provided an explanation for his absence, saying, “I decided to let him leave the national team camp… he won’t play [against South Africa].” This year, he has already participated in numerous games.
He also hinted that Amrabat might soon change teams.
Regragui continued, “I wouldn’t want to risk him getting hurt, especially as he’ll be signing for a new team soon.
