Inactive players include Malik Heath, who will be the sixth receiver, and David Long, who was removed from the practice squad to provide insurance if Alexander is unable to play.If Watson’s injury worsens, the Packers will have to rely on Romeo Dubs, Jaden Reed, Dontaivion Weeks and Bo Melton.
If Alexander turns his ankle and Corey Ballentine returns, Robert Rochelle will be the only cornerback available. Love, who joined Brock Purdy as the only players with three or more touchdown passes and no interceptions in five games, took the lead in the second half of the season.
Here’s where Love ranks over his last eight games:-
No. 1 in passing yards (2,150 yards)- 2nd place in passing rate (112.7).
– 2nd place in scoring (18 goals).- Second in completions of 25 yards or more (19).
– 3rd place in completion percentage (70.3).
Love will be opposed by one of the best defenses in the NFL. Led by running back Micah Parsons and tight end DaRon Bland, the Cowboys rank fourth in interception percentage, seventh in sack percentage and sixth in opposing passer rating.
