The Lions switched from Wednesday’s practice to a regular Thursday practice, reducing the participation of one starting player.Sam LaPorta is expected to participate fully in Wednesday’s practice, but only entered Thursday’s limited session. LaPorte suffered a knee injury in Week 18 but played and had a hit last Sunday against the Rams.
Linebacker Alex Anzalone (shoulder, ribs) moved from limited participation to full participation, while center Frank Ragnow (knee, back, toe, rest) moved from inactive to full participation in the only other change on the first score this week. Wide receiver Kalif Raymond (knee) is out and, other than LaPorta, the only player on the active roster who wasn’t a full participant.
