Pete Rose is a controversial figure in Major League Baseball, and while his great career with the Cincinnati Reds is warmly remembered, his betting on baseball games culminated in a life-long suspension in 1989. This restriction has been extended to the Hall of Fame, and while the notion is that when he dies, it will be revoked, many fans want him to visit Cooperstown, which they believe he deserves.
