Icons of Goths First US event announced for The Sisters of Mercy in…..
The Sisters of Mercy, a goth band lead by Andrew Eldritch, have announced their first US tour in 14 years. They will be playing at the Sick New World festival in May in Las Vegas, which is home to a variety of hardcore, industrial, goth, and nu-metal acts.
In addition to goth-leaning acts like Evanescence, Cradle of Filth, Lacuna Coil, and The 69 Eyes, among many others, the lineup features Placebo, Ministry, She Wants Revenge, Skinny Puppy, Killing Joke, Stabbing Westward, Orgy, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, and many more. At the top of the poster are System of a Down, Korn, Deftones, Incubus, Turnstile, and Chevelle. Presale begins on Friday, November 11 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time.
Hopefully, The Sisters of Mercy will perform at a few more North American dates in May. Pay attention.
The Sisters of Mercy have not put out a new record since Vision Thing in 1990, however Andrew Eldritch did declare in 2016 that he would record a new record in the event Donald Trump was elected. We are still not done yet.
