The iconic film All the President’s Men will be shown on BBC Two this evening at 11:10 p.m. The historic Watergate scandal, which ultimately led to US President Richard Nixon’s resignation in the 1970s, is the basis for the film. Two rival journalists, Carl Bernstein and Richard Woodward, joined forces to look into the rash break-in at the Democratic Party headquarters in the Watergate apartment building. One mysterious source, code-named Deep Throat, helps the reporters link one of the burglars to a White House official.
