Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic is only just 29 years old, but he is already one of the most decorated players in NBA history. With six All-Star appearances, six All-NBA selections, three NBA MVP trophies, and a Finals MVP award, Jokic’s collection of honors is amazing.
Jokic is unquestionably one of the most accomplished NBA players of all time, but he’s also one of the most accomplished athletes of the recent past. ESPN ranked Jokic 28th on their very exclusive list of the top 100 athletes since 2000.
The Denver Nuggets shared this announcement from ESPN along with a graphic featuring Jokic and some of his trophies: This is a very well-deserved honor for Jokic, as there is very little in the NBA that he hasn’t accomplished. Seemingly in the middle of his prime, Jokic has won three of the last four league MVP awards, placing second in 2023—the year he won the MVP of the Finals.
