EA Sports’ NFL Officially Predicts Super Bowl LVIII Winner…

EA Sports released their annual Super Bowl predictions after simulating the Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers in Madden NFL 24.

The simulation predicted an incredibly close game, but the Chiefs came out on top with a 30-28 victory . This makes the Chiefs the eighth team in history and the ninth team in NFL history to win back-to-back Super Bowls.EA Sports also predicted that Chiefs quarterback Parrick Mahomes would become just the third player in history to win back-to-back Super Bowl MVP awards.

Madden NFL simulations aren’t always accurate, so 49ers fans don’t have to worry too much about predictions. Over the past decade, despite predictions that the 2015 New England Patriots would win 28-24 over the Seattle Seahawks, those predictions have been proven wrong 70 percent of the time. I was wrong last year when I predicted the Philadelphia Eagles to win 31-17 over the Chiefs.

The Chiefs won 38-35. Those who want to try the simulation for themselves can do so in Madden NFL 24, available on Xbox. That’s thanks to the game’s launch on Game Pass on February 8. In their latest 6/10 EA review, IGN said, “New animations and improved AI make Madden NFL 24’s on-field action the best it’s ever been. But all that happens on stage is a series of outdated modes and slow menus. Bring everybody.”
