Former Denver Broncos cornerback Tim McKyer was arrested in Florida on Sunday following an alleged hit-and-run, according to WFLA-TV’s Kevin Accettulla.
McKyer, 60, crashed into 5 parked vehicles in a parking garage and then drove away, the Riviera Beach Police Department said.
“McKyer was charged with 5 counts of leaving the scene of an accident with property harm exceeding $50 in addition to a crook quotation for leaving the scene and a traffic infraction for failure to report,” per WFLA.
McKyer played in the NFL from 1986-1997. He won two Super Bowls ((XXIII and XXIV) with the San Francisco 49ers before later triumphing a 0.33 (XXXII) with the Broncos in his last season.
McKyer spent time with seven NFL teams, totaling 470 tackles, 33 interceptions, five fumble recoveries, two defensive touchdowns and one forced fumble. He recovered a fumble in Denver’s 31-24 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XXXII, the remaining game of his career.
