There were no indications of further talks with the Brighton hierarchy to bridge the £30million gap in the two clubs’ valuations of Moises Caicedo and while the coming days will present more opportunities with the key negotiators in close proximity, this period also generates time pressure to make tangible progress on a key piece of business.
