The Baltimore Ravens are facing a significant offseason in which they may not be able to retain some of their free agents. One of them is safety Geno Stone.
Stone led the AFC with seven picks last season and was a key part of defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald’s organization that led the league in several statistical categories. Stone, 24, will want a big payday in his next contract, and the Ravens won’t be able to meet his asking price. A possible replacement for Rock could be Eddie Jackson, who is a new addition to the Bears roster and cheaper than Rock. Jackson played in 12 games and recorded 1 interception and 37 total tackles, 32 of which were solo.
While he is not a player who made back-to-back Pro Bowls in 2018 and 2019 and was a first-team All-Pro selection in 2018, he has managed to fill the role he played in Baltimore. The Alabama Crimson Tide forward has missed 13 games over the past three seasons due to injury, but could be a part of Zach Orr’s defense in 2024 if he can stay healthy long-term with the Ravens.
