In a bizarre and unexpected twist during the Nuggets–Blazers game, fans were left stunned when a man dressed head-to-toe as Where’s Waldo wandered onto the court area and appeared to be tampering with the shot clock wiring.
According to eyewitnesses, the man — wearing the trademark red-and-white striped shirt, beanie, and round glasses — slipped past security and began fiddling with the shot clock control box near the scorer’s table before being swiftly detained by arena staff.
The game was temporarily paused as officials assessed the situation, ensuring no damage was done to the equipment. Players from both teams looked on in disbelief, some even laughing at the surreal scene. “I thought it was part of a halftime skit,” one fan commented.
Security escorted the intruder off the court to a chorus of cheers and confusion from the crowd. The Nuggets organization later released a statement confirming the individual was in custody and that play resumed safely after a brief delay.
