5 Manchester United players Out: United’s Predicted XI To Play Aston Villa…

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will have been delighted with his side’s 3-0 win over West Ham in their last game. But the victory did not come without a cost. Lisandro Martinez is out for eight weeks after injuring his knee in the second half at Old Trafford. It is a huge blow for the Argentina international, who has missed most of the season after undergoing surgery to fracture his collarbone.

The Red Devils face Aston Villa this weekend. We know a win will put us back in contention for Champions League qualification. The Villans’ form has been somewhat inconsistent of late, with a 5-0 win over Sheffield United and two defeats to Newcastle and Chelsea (FA Cup). That means a win at Villa Park on Sunday is not entirely out of the question. For the team, Andre Onana will start in goal after making some good saves against the Hammers. Raphael Varane is expected to replace Martinez and the Frenchman’s partner Harry Maguire in the center of defence.

With Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tyrell Malacia still unavailable for selection, Ten Hag will field Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw in the two full-back positions. At the stadium, there are expected to be no changes at West Ham, with Kobe Mainu and Casemiro in the starting line-up and captain Bruno Fernandes occupying the No.10 spot. Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hoylund have looked good up front and while Marcus Rashford’s form is a concern, he could keep his place in both teams for now.
